| Blood Cancer United cycling events would not be possible without the dedicated volunteers who donate their time and energy to support the event during event weekend and throughout the year. |
Why Volunteer?
- Support Blood Cancer United’s mission to fight blood cancer
- Be part of an amazing, high-energy community
- Experience the excitement of the event up close
- Earn community service hours (if applicable)
- Have fun while making a difference!
|
What to Expect
- Volunteer shifts vary in length (3 to 8 hours depending on the role).
- Timeliness and enthusiasm are crucial—many volunteers are the first point of contact for riders, it’s our goal to create a safe, fun, and amazing experience for all riders.
- Some roles require physical activity, such as lifting or extended periods of standing.
- All volunteers will receive training materials and a designated point of contact for questions prior to starting their shift.
- Volunteers will experience the event firsthand
- Group volunteering is available! While some roles are already assigned, we’d love to welcome new groups to get involved.
- Support and breaks will be provided, along with hydration and snacks at your station.
- Volunteer roles vary but could include rest stop crew, cheer squad, ride expo shifts and more.
