FAQ
What should I bring?
Yourself, of course! Please also be sure to bring all the gear, clothing, etc. that you need in order to have your very best ride day! This may include but is not limited to: bike, basic SAG bag, shorts, riding shoes, helmet, alternate jersey (you will receive an event jersey on site), preferred snacks, etc.
What weather should I expect?
Early Fall weather in South Carolina is perfect for riding! We expect an average low of 43 degrees F and high of 63 degrees F with a <20% chance of rain. Please monitor ride week weather as the event gets closer, pack accordingly.
Will there be on course support (SAG, rest stops)?
Yes! SAG will be available throughout the ride days and rest stops will be located approx. every 18 miles apart. Lunch will be served on course.
What if I need SAG or cannot complete my course distance?
Our ride is fully supported – this means that we will have SAG and safety contracted to support along the entire ride. If you cannot complete your ride for any reason, our SAG team will be able to provide you with the assistance needed.
What if I need to rent or ship a bike?
There are several rental shops in the area. We recommend researching and renting well ahead of time in order to reserve your bike. Rental recommendation: Greenville Bike & Tri Company.
If you are shipping your bike, we recommend using Bikeflights. We have bike mechanics on-site that assemble and repack the bikes.
What if I get injured during the ride?
We will have contracted medical and emergency professionals on sit who will assist you immediately in the case of injury or emergency.
What if I have a mechanical issue on the course?
Please be prepared and equipped to handle minor mechanical issues (i.e. flat tire kit on hand). Our SAG vehicles will have supplies on hand as well. More extensive mechanical assistance that may need professional help will not be available on demand.
Is there a ride profile?

Can I change the distance before ride day?
Yes! If you need to change your course choice before the ride day, please contact your fundraising staff partner and we will switch your ride distance selection accordingly.
What is packet pickup?
There is no official packet pickup for this event. Rather, you will receive a welcome rider bag upon check in at the Grand Bohemian. This bag will include all items needed for the ride!
Where do I check in on ride morning?
We will meet in the lobby of the Grand Bohemian Lodge each ride day. Ride start times to be provided.
What is the best way to travel to Greenville?
If driving, please valet at the hotel and we will cover parking. If flying, we recommend Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (20 minutes away) or Charlotte Douglas Airport (1.5 -2 Hour drive). Our staff team will provide airport and gear transportation for riders flying into Greenville. A rental car is recommended if flying into Charlotte.
