Ride

When you register for Scenic Shore, you are signing up for a fundraising mission first, and a bike ride second.

Two wheels, one goal: a world without blood cancer.

Each year, over a thousand people, motivated by creating a world without blood cancer, ride the picturesque shoreline of Lake Michigan. Whether you are a first time rider or a 30-year veteran, we’re here to help you meet your fundraising and cycling goals


Weekend Distance Options

No matter your distance, you are a part of creating a world without blood cancer.

25 Miles (Saturday Only)

Perfect for new cyclists and younger riders, this route begins in Mequon and ends at 25-mile finish line at Rest Stop 2 in Belgium. Riders can then shuttle back to the start line.
Fundraising Minimum: Adult $100 | Youth (8–17) $25

 

75 Miles (One Day)

  • Saturday: Ride from Mequon to Manitowoc, enjoying stunning Lake Michigan views. End the day at the lakeside mid-point celebration.
  • Sunday: Begin in Manitowoc and enjoy the scenic ride north to Sturgeon Bay. This route offers more elevation before finishing at the Tailgate Festival.

Fundraising Minimum (all ages): $350

 

100 Miles (Saturday Only)

Take on the ultimate one-day challenge. Starting in Mequon, you’ll ride a century along the Lake Michigan shoreline, fueled by fully supported rest stops, meals, and mission moments along the way.
Fundraising Minimum: $500 (Adult 2-Day level)

*This is not a separate registration option, but all 75-mile riders have the option to do the Century Loop on day one!

 

150 Miles (Two Days)

The traditional Scenic Shore experience: 75 miles from Mequon to Manitowoc on Saturday, followed by 75 miles from Manitowoc to Sturgeon Bay on Sunday. Riders can camp overnight in Manitowoc or book their own hotel.
Fundraising Minimum: Adult $500 | Youth (12–17) $400

*May chose to do the 25-mile Century Loop to complete a century on Saturday.

 

Virtual Rider

Support the mission from anywhere. Virtual riders receive a rider packet, t-shirt, medal, and earned incentives (shipped after ride weekend, once the fundraising minimum is met).
Fundraising Minimum: Adult $500 | Youth (12–17) $400

Ride with GPS route collection for Ride Weekend 2025 is available HERE. We will release the 2026 route closer to the ride.

When you register as a Team Captain, you’re not just riding, you’re leading the charge! Team Captains are the heart of the Scenic Shore Bike Tour, inspiring friends, family, and coworkers to rally together for one unforgettable ride with one unstoppable mission to find cures and improve patient’s lives! As a Team Captain, you will:

  • Build your own team of passionate riders
  • Motivate and celebrate your crew every step of the way
  • Get exclusive resources, recognition, and support from our staff
  • Play a key role in driving the impact that fuels lifesaving research and support for patients
