Every Big Climb event depends on dedicated volunteers who help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for participants, survivors, caregivers, and families.
Whether you’re helping with registration, cheering on climbers, assisting at water stations, or supporting event operations, your time and energy help make a meaningful impact.
No fundraising minimum required—just a willingness to lend a hand and be part of something bigger.

Many of our volunteers return year after year—and we love welcoming new faces, too.
What to Expect
Volunteer shifts typically range from 3–8 hours depending on the role.
Some positions involve standing for extended periods, walking throughout the venue, or light lifting.
We’ll provide:
- Training materials before your shift
- A designated point of contact
- Event-day support
- Water and snacks
Most volunteer roles allow you to experience the excitement of event day firsthand.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for a meaningful team-building experience?
Volunteer groups are welcome. Whether you’re representing a company, school, community organization, or group of friends, we’d love to have you join us.
Some volunteer areas may already be assigned to long-standing volunteer groups, but new groups are always encouraged to get involved.
