Participate Virtually

Can’t make it to Deer Valley for Shred For Red weekend? No problem – go virtual and shred your way!

Distance is no excuse to sit this one out. Whether you’re carving fresh lines at your local hill, ripping laps with your crew at your home resort, or logging runs on your hometown mountain, you can join the movement from anywhere and make every turn count toward a cure.

How to participate virtually

  1. Register and select “Virtual Participation.” You’ll get your own fundraising page and a direct line into our skier community.
  2. Choose your own snow adventure. A few ways to get the stoke going:
    • Host your own Shred Day. Pick a day this season, grab your board or skis, and hit your favorite local spot. Rally your friends, family, or coworkers as your virtual team and bring the Shred For Red energy wherever you are.
    • Set a seasonal goal. Challenge yourself to log X days on snow this winter. Every run counts — track your progress, post your laps, and tag us so we can hype you up.
    • Get creative. No resort nearby? No excuses. Cross-country skis, the local sledding hill, a snowmobile, or even a full “dryland” Shred Day — hiking, biking, or working out in your gear — all counts. Bonus points for creativity.

Fundraising made easy (and fun!)

No minimum required — just aspirational goals and good vibes. Set a target that gets you fired up, whether that’s $50 or $5,000. Every dollar you raise, wherever you’re riding, fuels lifesaving blood cancer research and patient support.

Choose your way to register

  • Start a squad. Round up your people — teammates can ride virtually or in person, mix and match however works. Teams chase a shared fundraising goal and keep the stoke high.
  • Join a squad. Team captain already dropped in? Search the team name at registration and hop on the roster.
  • Go solo. No ski buddies lined up? Register as an individual and we’ll help connect you with others looking to link up.
