How Does It Work?

Become a Fundraiser

All registrants will not only gain access to exclusive trips curated for Blood Cancer United, but they will also get 1:1 fundraising support from a Blood Cancer United staffer. It is as easy as 1, 2, 3…

  1. Meet with Blood Cancer United staff to learn more about each trip, out-of-pocket costs, and fundraising minimums. Click here to fill out the Interest Form.
  2. Register and set up your fundraising page.
  3. Sign up with Embark Exploration Co. and pay your non-refundable $500 deposit.

Fundraising

Upon registration, individuals will be partnered with our fundraising staff experts and will map out their fundraising path. The fundraising minimum is $5,000/person in support of the Blood Cancer United mission.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

Each participant will pay a trekking fee to Embark Exploration Co. that covers your in-country transfers, food (some exceptions apply), lodging, camping materials, permits, staff costs, etc. Participants are also in charge of paying for their airfare.

Reimbursement Policy

For every $2,500 participants fundraise, they are eligible for a $250 reimbursements. We cap this at a $5,000 reimbursement which is the equivalent of raising $50,000. Reimbursements are issued at the end of each trip. You will have 30 days from the end of your trip to fill out the form for a reimbursement.
