That’s why we are on a mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families. How? We fund life-saving blood cancer research around the world, provide free information and support services for patients and their families, and are the voice for those seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
With your help, we have invested more than $2 billion in groundbreaking research supporting many of today’s most innovative approaches to treatment—helping those with blood cancer not only survive but also thrive.
Rubi, Age 8
Diagnosis: T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma
Hometown: Roseville, CA
Two days before her fifth birthday, Rubi was taken to the emergency room, struggling to breathe. Doctors discovered a large tumor pressing on her heart, lungs, and airways, and on her fifth birthday she was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Over the next 858 days, Rubi endured intensive treatment at Stanford, multiple ICU stays, and countless challenges with remarkable courage. Having completed treatment in January 2026, Rubi now serves as an inspiration to our community and a powerful reminder of why we ride, fundraise, and invest in the search for cures.
