What is Dare to Dream Schools?
Dare to Dream Schools is a student-centered fundraising program where kids help other kids by raising money and awareness for blood cancer. Schools, students, staff, and families work together to make a meaningful impact through fundraising and acts of kindness.
Where does the money go?
100% of funds raised support the Dare to Dream Project, helping fund blood cancer research, patient support programs, and advancements in safer, more effective treatments.
How does our school get started?
Getting started is easy. Schools can register at BloodCancerUnited.org/DaretoDreamSchools. A Dare to Dream team member will follow up with resources, guidance, and next steps to help launch your campaign.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. There is no cost for schools, students, or families to participate in Dare to Dream Schools.
Who can participate?
Students of all ages can participate with support from parents, caregivers, school staff, and volunteers. Schools may choose to involve classrooms, clubs, grade levels, or the entire school community.
How do students and schools raise funds?
Schools can choose fundraising activities that work best for their community, including online fundraising, classroom challenges, school events, spirit days, and student-led activities. Resources and fundraising ideas are provided to help make participation simple and successful.
What support will our school receive?
Every participating school receives access to fundraising resources, a school guide, promotional materials, online fundraising tools, and support from a dedicated Dare to Dream staff partner throughout the campaign.

Schools can earn a Tango gift card with value based on their total fundraising amount. Tango offers a variety of merchant gift cards, including Domino’s! After you complete your school fundraiser, submit the online Wrap-Up Report. Once your report is received and all donations have been processed, your school's gift card will be sent electronically.
