When you register for America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride, you are signing up for a fundraising mission first, and a bike ride second.

Two wheels, one goal: a world without blood cancer.

Each year, thousands of people, motivated by creating a world without blood cancer, ride the picturesque shoreline of Lake Tahoe. Whether you are a first time rider or a 30-year veteran, we’re here to help you meet your fundraising and cycling goals.

Fundraising Minimums

The funds raised by Team In Training teammates help Blood Cancer United explore new paths to cures, supporting approximately 300 active, cutting-edge research projects in the most promising new areas of immunotherapy and personalized medicine in cancer research.

  • Basic Fundraising Commitment: $1,600

Or, Register for a Fundraising Commitment to Include **Hotel Stay:

  • $3,000 – *Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 2 Nights
  • $3,500 – *Half Cost of Hotel Room Covered for 3 Nights
  • $4,000 – Hotel Room for 2 Nights
  • $5,000 – Hotel Room for 3 Nights

Distance Options

No matter your distance, you are a part of creating a world without blood cancer.

35 Mile Option

Perfect for new cyclists and younger riders, this route begins in Carnelian Bay and ends at the finish line in Stateline NV. Riders will shuttle from the Tahoe Blue Event Center on Sunday morning and meet their bikes at the Gar Wood’s parking lot to start their journey.

SATURDAY, June 6th (Day before Ride)

NO LATER THAN 3pm – Drop off bike with Pro Bike Express in the parking lot in front of Tahoe Blue Event Center. Bikes will be securely stored and transported to the start line.

SUNDAY, June 7th (Ride Day!)

8:00am – Meet at Tahoe Blue Event Center for a special Mission Moment.
8:30am – Shuttles depart for the 35-mile start line.
~9:30am – Arrive at Carnelian Bay, grab your bike, and hit the course!

Bag Drop: You’ll pass only one rest stop with bag drop access—King’s Beach, which comes early in the route. Plan ahead for what you’ll need during the ride.

Please note: There is limited capacity for the 35-mile route.

72 Mile Option

Circumnavigate the lake and enjoy the views! Refuel at 5 rest stops along the way and lunch in Kings Beach.

100 Miles

Take on the ultimate one-day challenge. Circumnavigate the lake with the addition of an out and back to Truckee CA.

 ** 100 mile riders will receive an earlier start wave to ensure they have plenty of time to complete this course. In addition, we will have a strict course cut off in Tahoe City at 12 noon.

Virtual Rider

Support the mission from anywhere. Virtual riders receive a rider packet, t-shirt, medal, and earned incentives (shipped after ride weekend, once the fundraising minimum is met).

Team Captains are the heart of the AMBBR, inspiring friends, family, and coworkers to rally together for one unforgettable ride with one unstoppable mission to find cures and improve patient’s lives! As a Team Captain, you will:

  • Build your own team of passionate riders
  • Motivate and celebrate your crew every step of the way
  • Get exclusive resources, recognition, and support from our staff
  • Play a key role in driving the impact that fuels lifesaving research and support for patients
