Where does the event start and finish?
Start: Tahoe Blue Event Center, Stateline, NV
Finish: 4H Camp, Stateline, NV 

 

When is packet pick-up?
Packet pick-up will be available at the Tahoe Blue Event Center on Friday, June 5 2PM – 6PM and Saturday, June 6, 10AM – 6PM. Riders will receive their event bib, swag bag, and weekend details. 

 

How do I pick up my bike if I rented through Unlimited Biking?
Unlimited Biking will be set up at packet pickup on Saturday from 10am – 6pm and Sunday morning prior to the start of the ride for riders to come and pick up their bikes.

 

What route options are available? 

• 72-Mile Classic Loop – Ride the full Lake Tahoe shoreline. 
• 100-Mile Century Ride – For those seeking a little extra mileage with an out and back to Truckee CA.  
• 35-Mile TNT Ride – Exclusive to Team In Training fundraisers only. 

 

How do I register?
Registration is open now for the Team In Training Experience, as well as for our Impact Rider and Registration Only Options through our event website. Choose between Registration Only, Impact Rider, or Team In Training (TNT) — each offers unique benefits and ways to support the Blood Cancer United mission. 

 

What is the difference between Team In Training, Impact Rider, and Registration Only?
Team In Training (TNT) Experience: The premier event experience. TNT riders push our mission further through fundraising and receive: 

• Exclusive 35-mile course access (limited capacity) 
• Premium TNT jersey and event package 
• Access to the TNT Lounge & Finish Line Village 
• Invitation to the Team Rally Dinner & VIP reception 
• National team coaching and fundraising support 
• Hotel night eligibility based on fundraising commitment 
• Exclusive mission jersey (if committed by Feb 20, 2026) 

TNT riders enjoy all Impact and Registration perks plus premium event experiences. 

Impact Rider: Includes all Registration perks plus access to the Team Rally Dinner, exclusive mission jersey (when committed by Feb 20, 2026), and special fundraising incentives. 

Registration Only: Includes your event bib, swag bag, medal, 2026 AMBBR t-shirt, professional course photos, rest stops, SAG support, and finish line celebration. 

Do I have to fundraise to participate?
Although there is no fundraising requirement for general registration, all riders receive a fundraising page and fundraising is encouraged to help support the Blood Cancer Untied mission and make an even greater impact. Impact and TNT riders help advance our mission and receive exclusive event experiences. 

 

What support is available on the course?
AMBBR is a fully supported ride featuring: 

• 6 rest stops (5 plus lunch), every 10–15 miles 

• Gear drop available at select rest stops 

• Bike mechanics at each rest stop 

• SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles throughout the route 

• Medical and safety personnel on duty all day 

 

What food and drink options are available on course?
All rest stops and the finish line will offer a variety of hydration, snacks, and fresh food options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian choices. Lunch will include options to accommodate dietary needs. If you have a specific dietary restriction, please request your preferred meal at the lunch stop so those with allergies or restrictions have access to appropriate options. We ask that riders who do not require vegetarian or gluten-free meals reserve those for riders who do. 

 

What food and drink options are available post-ride?
There will be a catered meal available for all riders post-ride. Please make sure you have your meal wristband on that you received at packet pickup to get your food. There will be free N/A beverages available to all riders and our caterer will be selling beer and wine on-site to those of age.

 

Can I purchase a meal wristband for a guest at the 4H finish line?
Yes, guest meal wristbands can be purchased on-site at 4H camp on June 7th for $25 each.

 

What should I bring or wear?
Bring a tuned road bike, helmet (required), sunscreen, hydration, and layers for mountain weather. Temperatures can vary widely around the lake. Hydration, snacks, and comfort items will be available at each rest stop. 

 

Can I rent a bike?
Yes, Unlimited Biking is offering bike rentals as an additional option this year. Rental prices range from $59 to $249 depending on bike type and include helmet, fitting, and pedal installation. Learn more: Rent your bike

 

Is there a mandatory bike inspection?
Not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Please have your bike inspected by a professional mechanic prior to the event. 

 

What is the event schedule for Sunday, June 7?
Start times will be announced closer to the event. Staging begins early morning from the Tahoe Blue Event Center. Rider waves will be released in 15 minute increments between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM. 

 

What happens if it rains or there is severe weather?
The event takes place rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, wildfire, or unsafe conditions, modifications or cancellations may occur. Updates will be shared via text and email. 

 

Can I get a refund if I can’t attend?
Registration fees are non-refundable, except in extenuating circumstances reviewed individually. Transfers will not be allowed. 

 

Are e-bikes allowed?
We welcome e-bikes that are designed for road riding but ask that as a safety precaution you do not use any throttle mechanism during the ride.  Be aware that some local ordinances in the Lake Tahoe basin do not allow e-bikes on bike paths. ?Don’t forget to be prepared with a fully charged battery and bring your own charging cable. There are limited charging stations available on-route. Please keep in mind that our bike mechanics and SAG vehicles may not be equipped to assist with issues and some e-bikes do not fit easily on standard bike racks. 

 

Are there lodging options nearby?
Yes! Many hotels are within walking distance of the start. TNT riders may unlock exclusive hotel nights based on fundraising levels. Details coming soon. 

 

Is there an age minimum?
Participants must be 13 years or older on event day. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered. 

 

Can friends or family participate without riding?
Yes! Spectators and volunteers are encouraged to join the celebration. Volunteering is a great way to experience the excitement of the event without riding. You’ll play an important role in supporting our riders and helping make the day a success. A variety of opportunities are available— please email [email protected] if interested in volunteering.

 

What happens after I finish?
Each rider receives a finishing medal when crossing the finish line. Celebrate at the Finish Line Festival at 4H Camp with food, music, and gorgeous lake views.
