Event Details

We ride like lives depend on it. Because they do.

Since its start in 1992, America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride has been driven by purpose, community, and passion. The event began with just 500 participants and has grown into one of the country’s premier charity cycling events, now drawing 2,500 riders and raising more than $3 million annually. Passionate participants have raised nearly $120M towards creating a world without blood cancer.

Today, America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride is more than a ride – it’s a movement. Along the breathtaking shoreline of Lake Tahoe, cyclists of all ages and abilities come together with one purpose: to help cure blood cancer. Whether you ride the 35, 72, or 100 mile route, you’ll be supported every mile and celebrated by survivors and their families whose lives you are helping to change. Join us for a weekend of inspiration, community, and hope. Two wheels, one goal: a world without blood cancer.

Start Line Waves
Riders will receive confirmation of their assigned rider wave during Packet Pick up. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your wave time. We will have send-off ceremonies starting 10 mins prior to each wave. Riders will be released every 15 minutes between 6 am – 7:30 am. Please note, those who choose the 100-mile option will be assigned an early start wave time prior to 6:30 am.

Start Line Parking
As part of Tahoe’s commitment to protect the environment by reducing vehicle trips, there is no free parking in the Stateline area where the Tahoe Blue Event Center is located. Paid parking is available for Tahoe Blue Event Center events at any of the four casinos located in the area (Harrah’s, Harveys, Bally’s, and Golden Nugget) and rates vary for each event. We recommend riding your bike, walking, or taking advantage of area free public transportation options, Lake Link on-demand shuttles & Tahoe Transportation District fixed-route service. Route and trip planning information and tools, including bike routes and shared scooters (Lime and Bird), can be found here. Note that shared scooters only operate in California so you still have to walk about ¼ mile to the event center if you choose this option. Venue & Parking Map

Finish line / After Party Location
Our finish line awaits at the University of Reno 4H Camp. A stunning 32-acre property on the lake in Stateline NV, just down the road from the start line at Tahoe Blue Event Center. Join us for delicious food by Bella Vita Catering, music, games, vendors and more!

Finish line / After Party Parking
To maintain a safe finish line corridor, vehicles are NOT permitted at 4H Camp and may not park in the surrounding neighborhood. Please refer to our Venue & Parking Map for nearby parking options.

Venue Shuttles
If required, shuttles to & from the finish line will run every 15-20 minutes between 10AM and 5PM from the front driveway loop at Bally’s Casino to Laura Drive area.

ROUTE DETAILS

Course Hours
Please note that the ride route opens at 6AM and closes at 5PM. If you choose to start your ride before 6AM or continue riding after 5PM you might not be supported. Rest stops & SAG vehicles may not be available to assist you.

SAG
Full SAG Support / Transport Services are onsite to pick up and move you and your bike forward on the course. Look for our vehicles marked SAG if you need assistance.  Typically SAGs will move you to the next forward Rest Stop.  SAG vehicles will not be returning to Start / Finish until the end of the ride sweep.

We encourage riders to ride the mostly downhill 12 miles from Spooner Summit rest stop to cross the Finish Line and collect their finisher’s medal. Our 6 Rest Stops  are well stocked with snacks, goodies, water, hydration drinks, bike mechanics, friendly faces, and provide the opportunity to rest and refresh.

  • No personal SAG vehicles on the route please.

Rest Stops
There will be a variety of snack and hydration options at each rest stop. Items available include fruit, granola bars, salty snacks, cookies and more. In addition, a bag lunch will be served at Kings Beach from 9:30am-2:30pm

Bag Drop Logistics
For your convenience, we offer rider bag drop at select rest stops throughout the course, including Vikingsholm, Gatekeepers, Truckee, and King’s Beach (lunch). Riders may leave a clearly labeled bag at these designated locations for retrieval at the finish line later in the day.

Important Note: Due to route logistics and road closures, bags will not be returned to the finish line until the associated rest stop has officially closed for the day. This means your bag may not arrive back at the finish line until after 5:00 PM, regardless of how early you dropped it off. Please plan accordingly.

The finish line area remains closed to all vehicle traffic until the final rider has crossed the finish line and the afterparty has concluded. If you do not plan to stay at the finish line until evening, please label your bag clearly with your bib number, name, and cell phone number so we can assist with identification and return coordination.

We strongly encourage riders NOT to place valuables (e.g., car keys, wallets, identification, electronics) in their drop bags.
