Turning Lemons into Lemon-AID!
BIG news, friends—I’ve stepped up as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Visionaries of the Year! And my team? We’re Team Lemon-Aid , because we’re here to take life’s sourest moments (like cancer) and turn them into something SWEET—a future without blood cancers!
The squeeze begins March 20 through May 30, and we need ALL the juicers we can get! Every dollar raised helps fund research, support patients, and bring hope where it’s needed most.
So who’s ready to mix up some life-saving lemonade with me? Let’s make cancer pucker up and back off!
Visionaries look to the future--and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo--and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world--and lead the charge to create it.
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer—it’s a disease that touches lives in ways we can’t ignore. Recently, a dear friend of mine lost their 21-year-old daughter to this disease. That’s why I’ve decided to exhaust every resource, every connection, and every opportunity I’ve built over the years to make a real difference.
Through my involvement with the Northwest Ohio Chambers of Commerce, fraternal organizations, and my church community, I’ve seen firsthand the power of coming together for a cause greater than ourselves. This is not about recognition or making a name for myself—it’s about standing in the gap for those fighting today and honoring those we have lost. My focus is on the Patient Care pillar, ensuring those in the fight receive the support and resources they need. If I don’t step up, then who will?
Over the last five years, LLS helped advance 75% of the almost 100 FDA-approved blood cancer treatment options. And many of these LLS-supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are now approved to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers, and noncancerous diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. They’re even being tested in clinical trials for patients with a range of cancers including lung, brain, pancreatic and prostate cancers, and noncancerous diseases such as diabetes and lupus.
I have no doubt that this is an organization that is making an impact with the dollars it raises, and I’m proud to be associated with LLS.
Please consider supporting this organization by making a contribution to my campaign, and by sharing the link to my page with your network. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. For more information on LLS, please visit www.LLS.org
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support.
