Hearing the words from a loved one, “I have cancer” is terrifying. Years ago, when my mom told my siblings and me that she had a rare form of blood cancer called multiple myeloma, my mind was filled with fear. The reality of it possibly taking her life didn’t settle until this past July. Being with my mom when she was unable to communicate was a profound experience. I knew from the countless hours spent in the hospital that I needed to do something to help others in a similar situation. 

I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on this same vision--of a better world--one without blood cancers. 

This year, I am proud to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission.
