Cancer has been a part of my life’s journey, especially through my father’s fight against multiple forms of cancer—skin, lung, bone, and bladder. His resilience inspired me to become involved in the fight against cancer. Now, as a father of two young kids, I feel even more determined to make a difference.
When I learned that leukemia is the most common cancer in children and adolescents under 20, accounting for 25.1% of cases, it struck a chord with me. Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, and these statistics remind me why this cause is so important.
As a Visionary for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, I’m driven by hope. Hope for a future where no child or family has to face the challenges my father did. This is about creating a brighter tomorrow for all of us—especially for our children, who deserve to dream big without the shadow of cancer.
Visionaries look to the future--and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo--and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world--and lead the charge to create it.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on this same vision--of a better world--one without blood cancers.
This year, I am proud to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
