Hello! I'm Dave. These are two of my biggest reasons to continue the fight to end blood cancers. My Dad and Justin, my college roommate, both passed away in 2023 due to cancers.

You're here! Thank you for your support of my mission to put an end to blood cances. My name is Dave Jeffers, and I am honored to be nominated for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission.

Like many of you, I have witnessed first-hand the effects that blood cancers and other debilitating diseases can have on loved ones and their families. My father, Donald Jeffers, and my college roommate, Justin Simms, both passed away in mid-2023 after their battles with various cancers. While tragic, it is unfortunately a too-common story that 1.2 million people are living with or in remission of blood cancers which impacts the lives of patients, friends, and families alike. This is why having an organization like LLS that looks for cures, drives policy advocacy, and provides support for those affected is so important. I hope you will join me in this fight.
