Thank you for taking a moment of your time to visit my page today!
I am incredibly honored to have been nominated as a 2025 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Visionary of the Year. This nomination represents not just a personal milestone, but also an opportunity to make a significant impact in the fight against blood cancers. Over the course of my career, I have dedicated my heart and soul to the field of oncology, spending over a decade at the bedside as an oncology nurse. Each day, I witnessed the resilience, courage, and determination of patients and their families as they face some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Their stories inspire me to do more—to go beyond caregiving and contribute to the larger mission of finding cures and improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
My passion for this cause is deeply personal. Every patient I’ve cared for over the years has left a mark on my life, but I’ve also seen the heartbreaking toll that blood cancers take on individuals and families. These diseases don’t just affect the person diagnosed; they ripple through entire communities. That’s why I’m using this platform to channel my dedication and experience into raising critical funds for LLS—an organization at the forefront of advancing research, patient support, and advocacy efforts.
For 10 weeks from March 7th through May 17th, I will be leading a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $188,000—a figure that represents the estimated number of people newly diagnosed with blood cancers in 2024. Your support will directly fuel groundbreaking research and provide vital resources for patients navigating their cancer journey.
Together, we can help turn hope into action and dreams of remission into reality.
I invite you to join me in this mission. Every dollar raised is a step closer to a world without blood cancers. Whether you can contribute financially, help spread the word, or simply stand with us in solidarity, your support means the world. Let’s work together to honor the courage of those who fight every day and create a brighter future for countless individuals and families.
Thank you for being a part of this journey and for helping to make a difference—because beating cancer is in our blood.
