I'm excited to share that I am leading a “Visionaries of the Year” fundraising campaign with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I have an ambitious goal to raise $300,000 by May 30th to support LLS’s mission to end blood cancer.

Through my work in health policy, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact of LLS’s policy efforts to improve patients’ lives. LLS has been a powerful champion for patients in both federal and state legislatures, working to ensure they have access to the safest, most effective treatments without undue financial burdens or barriers. In addition, LLS has played a crucial role in advancing scientific research to cure blood cancers, contributing to rising survival rates. Yet, there is still much more to be done.

The Visionaries of the Year campaign is a philanthropic competition, where my team is aiming to raise the most money over the course of a ten-week period. One of the reasons I am leading this campaign is to set an example for my children -- showing them the importance of service, giving back, and the incredible power of collective action to create meaningful change.

Every dollar brings us closer to a world without blood cancer and drives groundbreaking advancements in the fight to cure all cancers.
