I have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to help others. Each year, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) kicks off its “Visionaries of the Year” fundraising campaign, a cause that has become deeply personal to our family. This year, I’m proud to support my incredible wife, Alessandra Macaluso and Team “Power of P” in honor of our daughter, Penelope Macaluso. I’m reaching out to ask for your support in LLS’s mission to fund blood cancer research and provide critical assistance to patients and their families. Together, we can make a difference.

From March 27th - June 7th, our team goal is to raise $200,000 which will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding goal: a world without blood cancers. If we raise $200K by June 7th, we can connect our team’s name to an LLS-funded research portfolio to honor our efforts to help people with blood cancers.

Like many of you, I have witnessed first-hand the debilitating effects that cancers and specifically leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma can have on those who suffer from these blood cancers, and on the friends and family who care for and nurture their loved ones.

LLS funds the most promising blood cancer research across the globe and forges collaborations to accelerate new discoveries, treatments, and cures. With a more than 70-year track record, LLS has supported virtually every advancement in blood cancer treatment – including approaches once thought impossible. LLS is striving to raise $175 million to reimagine the standard of care for pediatric blood cancer through the Dare to Dream Project. Our vision is to move toward effective, safe treatments that target cancer precisely without harming the rest of the child’s body.
 
This is an organization that is making an impact with the dollars it raises, and I’m proud to be associated with LLS. All donations received will support LLS’s overall mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
