My name is Wesley Tucker, and I am deeply honored to accept the nomination as a Visionary of the Year for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
When I was presented with this incredible opportunity, one thought stood above all the emotions I felt—I want to help. While I haven’t personally experienced the impact of this disease, I know that too many families, young and old, face unimaginable battles every day. As a father, I can’t help but think about the parents, children, and loved ones fighting for more time together. That alone is enough to drive me to take action.
We don’t get to choose who this disease affects, but we can choose to stand with those who are fighting. We can choose to raise awareness, fund lifesaving research, and be a source of hope for those in need. My mission is to lead and educate a team that will make a real impact—one that brings light to those searching for it in the darkest of times.
I dream of a day when blood cancer no longer devastates lives. Until that day comes, I will be here, with an open hand and an open heart, ready to lift up those who need it most.
Join me in this fight. Together, we can make a difference.
This year, I am proud to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission.
