Dear Family and Friends,
Ten years ago, I faced my toughest battle—stage IV T-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Thanks to groundbreaking research and the incredible support of loved ones, I fought through treatment and vowed to pay forward the kindness I received. In 2016, I joined the Delaware Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and, with your help, raised $34,000 to fund lifesaving blood cancer research. That research made my targeted treatment possible and gave my husband and me the priceless gift of hope for our future family.
Today, I am beyond grateful to celebrate 10 years in remission. Joe and I now have two wonderful sons, Joseph (4) and Dominic (7 months), and I continue my career as a nurse, striving to give others the same compassion that carried me through my journey. To mark this milestone, I am honored to compete once again in the 2025 LLS Visionary of the Year campaign—this time on a national level as Delaware’s All-Star candidate. I humbly ask for your support in raising funds that will fuel cutting-edge research and bring hope to families facing cancer today. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing by me. Your support has turned a story of struggle into one of triumph. Here’s to many more years of health, happiness, and making a difference together.
Visionaries look to the future--and see infinite possibility.
They challenge the status quo--and make the impossible possible.
They boldly imagine a better world--and lead the charge to create it.
I am a visionary; I have a vision for a world without cancer, but I need your help! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was built on this same vision--of a better world--one without blood cancers.
This year, I am proud to be participating in The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Visionaries of the Year campaign as a team member, working to make the largest impact possible for LLS's mission.
As a global leader in the fight against blood cancer, LLS:
Please consider supporting this organization by making a contribution to my campaign, and by sharing the link to my page with your network. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. For more information on LLS, please visit www.LLS.org
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support.
