"Almost all of us will be touched by cancer, whether directly or through a loved one" |
"Cancer is not a distant concern—it’s a growing crisis that will likely touch each of us in a personal way"
In 2024, over 2 million new cancer cases will be diagnosed in the U.S., and by 2030, that number is expected to rise to 2.3 million. Globally, cancer claims around 10 million lives each year, with an alarming increase in younger individuals, particularly all of us under 40, facing cancers like colorectal cancer. The message is clear: cancer is not waiting for tomorrow—it’s affecting families today.
But there’s hope. Recent breakthroughs in cancer research, including personalized cancer vaccines and precision treatments, are transforming the fight against this disease. These innovations have the potential to dramatically lower cancer-related deaths, but they require funding to reach their full potential.
This is why I, Bruno, am taking on a challenge. I’ll be running a marathon to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. With every step I take, I’ll be running to match the donations you make. Your contribution isn’t just financial support—it’s a personal motivation for me to push through the miles and make a tangible impact in this fight.
Nearly every one of us will be impacted by cancer in some way, whether through a personal diagnosis or someone we love. By donating just the cost of a simple meal, you could help fuel the research that brings us closer to life-saving treatments. Your support could be the difference between life and death for someone dear to you.
Supporting cancer research is more than charity; it’s an investment in our collective future. Together, we can create a world where cancer is no longer a death sentence. Let’s unite now—your donations will power me through this marathon, and together, we’ll help turn hope into reality.
Supporting cancer is an investment in the health and future of those we hold dear. Let's make a difference now, before it's too late!
