MINIMUM FUNDRAISING COMMITMENTS

 2-Day Riders 150 Miles

  • Adult 2-Day: $500 minimum fundraising
  • Youth 2-Day (Age 10-17): $400 minimum fundraising

1-Day Riders 75 Miles

  • Adult or Youth 1-Day: $350 minimum fundraising

Saturday Riders: 25-Miles

  • Adult: $100 minimum fundraising
  • Youth: $25 minimum fundraising

All riders that have not met their minimum fundraising by July 1st must complete the commitment form, where riders will have the chance to guarantee their packets mailed to the pre-race by placing a credit card on file. Your credit card will only be charged if you have not met your fundraising minimum by August 1.

HOW TO MAKE A DONATION

 1. Accept online donations via credit card or PayPal through your fundraising page.

2. You can mail donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We recommend if you have cash to turn in to keep the cash and write a check to send in instead.  Please send all checks to:

3. Process your checks online through fundraise.lls.org or the LLS App. Follow these instructions for steps on how to electronically deposit your checks.

5 STEPS TO SUCCESSFUL FUNDRAISING

  1. REGISTER!
  2. KICK START your fundraising by making a personal donation.
  3. CUSTOMIZE your fundraising page. Share your personal story and pictures showcasing why you ride the shore for cures!
  4. CONNECT your fundraising page to a Facebook Fundraiser to easily reach your fundraising goal. [Must connect within your Fundraising Tools fundraise.lls.org] 
  5. SHARE with family, friends & co-workers why you are riding and ask them to support your efforts!

CUSTOMIZE YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

Customizing your fundraising page allows you to tell your donors the “why” behind your participation. Sharing your personal story and adding pictures will make the mission more personal and help motivate your donors to give.

FACEBOOK FUNDRAISERS

Connecting your fundraising page to a Facebook Fundraiser is the easiest way to reach your fundraising goal. Participants that connect to Facebook raise on average 5x more than those who don’t!

IMPORTANT: For a Facebook Fundraiser to be credited to your fundraising efforts for Scenic Shore, it MUST be connected through your participant page in Fundraising Tools: fundraise.lls.org
