What are the health & safety protocols?
We ask all riders to respect each other by frequently sanitizing and maintaining social distance. Facial coverings are optional. We no longer require a wellness screening or vaccine verification.
I am no longer able to attend the bike tour, how do I drop from the ride?
If for some reason, you need to drop from the Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour, you must submit a Dropped Rider Form. Please click here to submit the form online. Riders will not be dropped from the bike tour until a Dropped Rider Form is received by our offices. If you are unable to access the Dropped Rider Form by clicking the above link, please contact the SS150 team at (262) 785-4272 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Riders who do not fill out the official drop form will be responsible for meeting their $400 ($300 for youth riders and $50 for 25-mile riders) minimum fundraising requirement. All riders who submit a Dropped Rider Form will receive confirmation from our office. Forms must be received by July 1st, 2022. The only exception to this deadline is if a rider needs to drop for a medical reason and can provide a doctor’s certification.
If I need to drop from the ride, can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Yes, you may transfer your registration to someone else. Space is available on the Dropped Rider Form to include information on the person that will be replacing you. Please note the new rider will now be responsible for meeting the fundraising minimum.
I need to drop and do not have a replacement, but my friend/family member is still riding. Can I transfer any pledges I’ve received to their account?
Unfortunately, no, any pledges you raised prior to dropping from the bike tour cannot be transferred to another rider.
I need to drop from the ride, can I transfer my registration to next year?
Unless you are dropping for a medical reason and have a doctor’s certification you cannot transfer your registration to next year. Your registration is, unfortunately, non-refundable. If you are dropping for a medical reason and provide us with a doctor’s certification then you may transfer your registration to next year.
When will I receive my rider materials and what materials will I receive?
Every rider that meets their fundraising minimum, $400 ($300 for youth riders and $50 for the 25-mile route), will receive a rider packet. Your rider packet will be mailed out to the address you registered with. Your rider packet will contain the following items:

Have the routes changed this year?
The route is subject to change due to construction. More information will be available when the route map is released.
What time does the bike tour start each morning? Is it a mass start?
In the past, the ride officially starts at 7:30 a.m. The start is very relaxed, as the Mequon roads are not closed off for our event. We will not have rest stops open before 7:30 a.m. and all riders must be on the route by 8:00 a.m. Please check back for updates to the start procedure and start times for 2022.
Is there a place we can park our car at MATC-Mequon on Saturday morning?
Yes, there is overnight parking available at MATC where you can leave your car, so most riders just drive themselves over to MATC and leave their cars there. After the bike tour concludes on Sunday afternoon, transportation will be provided for you, your bike and your luggage back to MATC in Mequon (the cost is included in your registration fee). One day riders that choose to ride on Sunday only will be transported back to Manitowoc.
What happens if it rains?
Rain itself will not cancel the ride, however; lightning will delay it. Please pay attention to warnings from staff and volunteers. Should you find yourself in an electrical storm, please refer to your route map for instructions.
Are we responsible for our own meals?
You will need to select (in the questions) if you are joining us for Saturday dinner. If you chose to have dinner off-campus, you may elect to donate your dinner back to the LLS mission. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all the riders and volunteers. We will also provide snacks on Saturday night. Family members joining you will need to have purchased a wristband prior to the event to participate in the meal.
What do I do with my bike overnight at Manitowoc?
We have bike racks and overnight security guards to watch your bike for you. You do not need to transport it to your hotel.
How do I join a team?
Please contact the SS150 team at email@example.com or 262-785-4272 to have your team created and to be assigned as team captain.
We are ready to welcome you back in 2022! We are committed to providing a safe in person event experience for all our riders & volunteers in 2022. On-site Covid-19 related protocols will be updated closer to the event.
