As you reach fundraising milestones, you’ll earn recognition for the incredible impact you’re making. From early registration access to VIP experiences and national awards, we’re proud to celebrate your commitment to creating a world without blood cancer.
Early Bird Registration
Because Firefighter Stairclimb registration fills quickly, participants who raise $1,800 or more during the previous year’s event qualify for early bird registration.
Eligible participants receive access to register nearly two weeks before general registration, giving them the opportunity to secure their spot before registration opens to the public.
It’s our way of recognizing the incredible commitment of returning participants who go above and beyond to support Blood Cancer United.
VIP fundraisers
Participants who raise $2,800 or more by event day earn VIP status and receive:
- Access to the catered VIP area
- A commemorative gift
Elite 35
It’s our way of recognizing the incredible commitment of participants who go above and beyond to support Blood Cancer United.
Our Elite 35 recognizes the top 35 individual fundraisers leading the way in support of Blood Cancer United.
Elite 35 is determined by individual fundraising totals as of March 18 at 23:59 PT.
Elite 35 participants receive:
- Assigned to battalion 5
- Note that Elite 35 is not decided until March 18 23:59 PT
- Prior to March 19, assignments will not reflect Elite 35 status
- Please Battalion Information page
- Saturday access to Columbia Center to reserve their team’s event-day space
- Access to the catered VIP area
- A commemorative gift
Fundraising incentives
Every fundraising milestone deserves to be celebrated.
Participants who raise $750 or more are eligible to earn exclusive Firefighter Stairclimb gear and prizes. As your fundraising grows, so do your rewards.

Hero & Impact Awards
Your leadership changes lives.
When you support Blood Cancer United, you help fund research, patient support, advocacy, and access to care for people facing blood cancer. Reach Hero or Impact Award fundraising levels to earn national recognition and exclusive award benefits.
Hero Award: $50,000+ raised (individual)
Impact Award: $100,000+ raised (individual, team, company, or organization)
Award recipients receive:
- A customized Blood Cancer United recognition award
- A one-time portfolio progress report highlighting the impact of their support
- Recognition in the Blood Cancer United annual report
These national honors celebrate transformational generosity and the lasting impact made on blood cancer patients and families.
