There is no registration fee nor fundraising minimum for Big Virtual Climb. However, fundraising is encouraged to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Where do my donations go?
All donations from Big Virtual Climb help support the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and to help improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
When is the fundraising deadline?
To receive an event medal, bib and t-shirt, you must meet the fundraising requirements by May 22, 2020 ($100 for medal and bib, $250 for medal, bib and t-shirt). The fundraising deadline for the recognition program is June 17, 2020. You can also earn additional Big Climb swag by raising more funds!
What is the minimum age allowed to climb?
There is no minimum age to participate in Big Virtual Climb. All are welcome to register and participate.
Will I receive an event medal and bib?
All participants that raise $100 or more by May 22, 2020 will be mailed an event medal and bib, to arrive by June 13, 2020.
Will I receive an event T-shirt?
All participants that raise $250 or more by May 22, 2020 will be mailed an event t-shirt, to arrive by June 13, 2020.
What time should I climb?
Big Virtual Climb will be hosting three Opening Ceremonies to help you kickoff you climb: 9 A.M. EST, 9 A.M. CST and 9 A.M. PST. You can choose whichever time works for you! Instructions to join Opening Ceremony will be emailed to you.
How do I climb virtually?
To participate in the full Big Virtual Climb experience, attend one of the three Opening Ceremonies on June 13th. After the Opening Ceremony, climb your way, by either climbing up 1,762 stairs, walking 8,810 steps, or completing 600 chair step ups. Be sure to listen to our special soundtrack while you climb.
What do I do after I’ve completed my climb?
Visit our Finisher Page to take your finisher selfie, receive a special thank you message, download your virtual bib and more! Also be sure to post that you’ve completed your climb on social media using the below post!
