We are training to participate in an endurance event as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
This run is dedicated to our close friend and teammate Christian "Crunch" Regulski who recently passed away after a long battle with cancer. One would never have known what he was up against from his fun, outgoing attitude and carefree spirit. In spite of the burden he carried, Crunch was a pillar of strength and an inspiration to all of those lucky enough to know him. He taught us what it means to live life to the fullest and he will be in our hearts forever. Thank you for everything Crunch. This one's for you, buddy.

Together they are joing forces to run the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon (Yes, full marathon) Here are the team's early thoughts on training for a marathon.
Noah Savage: "I think running is the worst. It is frankly much harder than anything I have ever done- but if I can make it 26.2 miles- then I KNOW that if you are reading this page you can find it within you to reach deep into that pocket and give more than you ever thought possible"
Nick Lake: "Oh, we're only doing 26.2 miles??.. I guess I'll have to workout afterwards..."
Noah Savage: "All jokes aside Nick, did you know that the research funded by LLS has funded breakthrough targeted therapies, as well as revolutionary drugs like Gleevec?"
Nick Lake: "That's not all- LLS also provides valuable patient services to improve the lives of patients and their families."
